As March draws to a close, it's time to reflect on the whirlwind of activities and opportunities that have come my way this month at MR Housekeeping & Support. Here's a glimpse into the highlights of March:
All Saints Church, Maldon: I began cleaning at All Saints Church in Maldon, and I'm pleased to say that I've settled into a good routine with three shifts there each week. It's been a rewarding experience contributing to the upkeep of this historic and cherished local landmark.
Expansion Plans: With an increase in demand for my services, I've received a couple of enquiries about hiring a full-time member of staff. While nothing is set in stone yet, I'm hopeful that I'll be able to offer this opportunity to someone soon, further expanding the MR Housekeeping & Support team.
New Clients: I've been busy delivering quotes and meeting potential clients, including another local church. While I'm still waiting to hear back from some, I'm thrilled to have secured another church to support weekly, starting later in the year.
Family Time in France: A much-needed weekend trip to France to visit my parents provided a refreshing break. I couldn't resist getting my hands dirty and helped them restore their bread oven – all while enjoying some delicious French wine, of course!
Workwear: My partner surprised me with some lovely custom workwear this month. Their unwavering support and artistic touch continue to inspire and motivate me in my business endeavors.
Easter Celebrations: Easter came early this year, and I had the pleasure of meeting up with Paul and Charlie from Big Little Business for a recorded chat about my journey running a housekeeping and support business. While I was nervous, it was a fantastic experience, and I can't wait to share the podcast with you all soon.
With longer days ahead and a renewed sense of energy and excitement, I'm looking forward to seeing what April has in store. Stay tuned for more updates, and until then, take care!
Warm regards, Matt 🌟
