Hello, I'm Matt, owner of "MR Housekeeping and Support".  A little while ago I embarked on a journey to pursue my dream of providing top-notch housekeeping and support services to busy families, the elderly, and the more vulnerable in our community.

The inspiration behind "MR Housekeeping & Support" came from a personal experience with clients in their 90s. They were struggling to care for each other but didn't want formal caregivers. Care homes costing between £6,000-8,000 per month. 

However, they admitted they needed household help. They confided in me about being scammed out of £25,000, a situation they were too embarrassed to share with others. It made me wonder how many others were in similar situations without family support. That's when the idea for my business was born, with a long-term goal of supporting our local community with high-quality service.

We offer comprehensive housekeeping packages for busy families and personalised support for those needing extra help around their homes. Our services extend beyond cleaning to include benefits assessment, coordination with professionals to ensure all needs are met, batch cooking, laundry, ironing, companionship, and more.

We're proud to be recognised as a dementia-friendly organisation, with all our staff receiving specialised training in providing confident and professional support, backed by relevant qualifications such as food hygiene, first aid, and mental health awareness. Moreover, our team undergoes enhanced DBS checks.
