Hi, I'm Matt, the face behind MR Housekeeping!

In 2023 I decided to start my own housekeeping business. With a small advert on Facebook and some leaflets dropped around Maldon, looking back now, I didn't have a clue what I was doing!

With over three years in the business now and over 2,000 jobs completed, the gratification of making a difference has only got stronger and I am immensely proud of the business I have created.

In August 2026 I was the lead contributor to a column about housekeeping, being recoginsed as one of the top housekeeping experts in the country.

For me, I no longer get that Sunday night dread or ever really feel like I'm "working".

I've built a wonderful group of regular weekly and fortnightly clients, but am always on the look out for more.

In the gaps between, I have a particular passion for cleaning churches and heritage sites, ensuring that these important spaces are not only pristine but also preserved for the future. I take pride in my attention to detail and the care I provide to maintain their historical significance while making them shine.
